Vietnamese Boyz, also known as VBZ or V-Boyz, is a Vietnamese American gang in the San Gabriel Valley/Westmister/Garden Grove. Before Saigon fell in 1975 a major distinct wave of Southeast Asian immigrants entered the United States. The first which comprised of older and more educated came in with familiarity with the American culture. After the fall of Saigon, a tremendous second wave poured into the U.S., many of whom were young and less educated than their predecessors. Among them were criminals who formed groups to prey on the wealthier and more established immigrants from the first wave. In Vietnam, these criminals were involved in extortion, drug trafficking, prostitution and gambling. After emigrating to the United States, they continued these activities, preying on Asian immigrants, Asian-Americans and Asian businesses. Along with this, many Vietnamese immigrants experienced oppression by many whites in the Los Angeles County. This eventually led to the formation of the Vietnamese Boyz gang to protect each other from threats brought about by the dominant white crowd at schools. The gang has grown to be a notorious threat to society and is represented mainly by the "Westside" of their faction known as the Westside Vietnamese Boyz Gang. Although many Vietnamese gangs reside in the Orange County, the Vietnamese Boyz Gang is known to be far more dangerous and has originated in the Los Angeles area, resulting in more dangerous activities as influenced by Los Angeles gang activity.

The Wah Ching Gang is their main rival, constantly fighting over territories and gang influence around the San Gabriel Valley area. Other rivals are the Tiny Raskal Gang, Akro Pinoy (AKP), Boyz Lonely Cripz (BLC), Bahalana Gang (BNG), Tau Gamma Pinoy (TGP), Alhambra Hellside, Nip Family (NF), Nip Family Juniors (NFJ) and many Korean gangs. The Vietnamese Boyz gang is known to be armed and dangerous and can be identified by multiple tattoos including the number “22” representing the letter V (22nd letter in the alphabet), along with common asian gang related tattoos such as a the dragon, koi fish, or old English style writing. They go buy "2202" since 22 is V and 02 is B. There colors are the BLACK rag and blue rag since alot of "VBZ" are usually members of "ABZ". The Vietnamese Boyz are closely allied with the Asian Boyz (ABZ) street gang.

The cliques in VBZ are (listed by most activities): Westside, Southside, ZodiacSide, Tiny V Boyz, Eastside, and Orange County side.
