VideoEgg

VideoEgg Inc. was formed in 2005 by three Yale University students. It is a web-based publishing service that allows users to capture video content from virtually any device and format and publish it to the web.[1][2]

In September 2006, VideoEgg started to sell advertisements through the new Eggnetwork after it raised $12 Million in funding from Maveron, August Capital, and First Round Capital in exchange for about 20% of the company.[3][4]
