Victoria Kent was a Spanish Lawyer, amember of the first Paliament of the Second Spanish Republic in 1931, and a high official of the Government who reformed the Prison System. Victoria Kent opposed women's right to vote for oportunist reasons, arguing that they were very much influenced by the Catholic priests. In fact, women's right to vote was aproved in 1931.
