Victor Hănescu

Victor Hănescu (born July 21, 1981 in Bucharest) is a Romanian tennis player, ranked a career-high World No. 35 as of December 2005.

At Roland Garros 2005, Hanescu achieved his best-ever result at a Grand Slam tournament when he defeated David Nalbandian in five sets in the round of sixteen. He then lost to world number one Roger Federer in the quarterfinals.
