Victor Ehrenberg (jurist)

Victor Gabriel Ehrenberg (August 22, 1851 - March 10, 1929) was a German jurist.
He is the uncle of historian Victor Ehrenberg, and Geoffrey & Lewis Elton's great uncle.
He gave lectures at Universities of Göttingen (1877-), Rostock (1882), again Göttingen (1888), Leipzig (1911-1922).
He married Helene Ehrenberg (née von Jhering; 1852-1920 [1]), daughter of the legal historian Rudolf von Jhering (1828-1892).
Their daughter Hedwig Martha Ehrenberg(1891 - 1972) married Max Born.
