Vicky Angel is a children's book by Jaqueline Wilson, about a young girl's struggle with her grief over losing her best friend. Jade, a thirteen-year-old girl, sees her best friend Vicky being hit by a car and killed. just an hour after her death Vicky reappears as a kind of ghost beside Jade. As Jade tries to get used to life without Vicky, or at least without a Vicky that other people can see, Vicky's spectre becomes more and more controlling.

Vicky Angel deals with the issues of grief, parental instabilty and shyness.
