Vicarstown (Baile an Bhiocáire in Irish) is a village in County Laois, Ireland. It is notable for the Grand Canal which flows through the village.

- Henry Grattan the great orator and politician was awarded £50,000 in 1782 by the Irish Parliament to purchase lands and subsequently bought lands in this area from the Cosby family from Stradbally.
