Vic Akers

Victor David Akers (born August 24, 1946 in Islington, London) is a football player and manager. He is currently Arsenal's kit manager and general manager of Arsenal Ladies.

Akers played as a left back for Cambridge United (122 League appearances between 1971–74) and Watford (22 appearances between 1974–75) as a full back. He later joined Arsenal as head of the community section in 1986 and in 1987 founded the Arsenal Ladies team. He has managed Arsenal Ladies to every major trophy in English women's football.
