User talk:Vice President In Charge Of Office Supplies

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

{{unblock}} Hi, what is going on? I make an account and all the sudden I can no longer edit. Could someone please help? Thanks.

It appears you have been banned by User:Doc glasgow - there is no reason specified and your edits seem good - an admin should comment soon :) ST47 23:03, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Ok. I was wondering what was going on. Does Wikipedia have something against Merrimack, New Hampshire or something?

ok, there's a reason in this log:karmafist sock - it appears the admin has thought you to be a Sockpuppet of User:Karmafist, who is Banned Indefinately for vandalism ST47 23:07, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Ok, I have no idea who that is. I'm at Town Hall in Merrimack right now waiting for a planning board meeting just killing some time with my laptop and wifi card. Vice President In Charge Of Office Supplies 23:12, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Hello? Where Are these admins?

What the hell is wrong with you people?

I'm not sure, someone should have been here by now...I'll ask on the IRC again ST47 23:21, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Ok, the meeting's going to start in a few minutes anyway. Jeez, I can understand why this karmafist guy hates these people, they seem to be dicks.

ok, you got banned unfairly, but it is 730 pm in USA and almost midnight in europe and I don't think it is necessary, and anyway, you just got unblocked by User:Mackensen, atleast until whatever is up reveales itself ST47 23:29, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unblocked

You have been unblocked for the time being. Regrettably, a banned user formerly known as Karmafist lives in your town. Apologies for the inconvenience. Mackensen (talk) 23:25, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

If I blocked an innocent party - I apologise. --Doc 23:31, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hello

Hey, another Merrimacker! Yeah, don't mind them, they can be hostile at times. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Karmafist 18:17, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Oh, here's a welcoming present

This user is from Merrimack, New Hampshire, United States of America.

[edit] State Chairs of the Democratic Party

Hey, looks like you're about to embark on a large project here! Just before you go too far, could you try to use a better stub than just {{stub}}, e.g. {{US-politician-stub}} on each of the new pages, and could you use "External links" instead of "External Links", as per WP:MOS? Otherwise other editors will have to go over your (very good) work and make the above changes anyway.

If you wish to discuss this, or anything else, feel free to get in touch. Keep up the good work! Budgiekiller 10:52, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

Hey, I see you're still making good progress with your project! Keep it going, and let me know if I can be of any help. Budgiekiller 07:19, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RfA thanks

Thank you very much for participating in my RFA, which closed successfully today with a result of (62/18/3). I will go very carefully at first, trying to make sure I don't mess up too badly using the tools, and will begin by re-reading all the high-quality feedback I received during the process, not least from those who opposed me. Any further advice/guidance will be gratefully accepted. I hope I will live up to your trust! Guinnog 14:30, 30 August 2006 (UTC)}

[edit] Helpme

I am being defamed by a user named Taxman. Can someone assist?

Unfortunately, we cannot help you in such a situation. {{Helpme}} is reserved for technical problems or how-to's. You have to deal with this between yourself and Taxman first, and if need be, there are ways to request for comments or arbitration. Ryūlóng 23:09, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
You're not being defamed, in fact you're free to edit. I'm just simply enforcing the WP:SOCK policy on an RfA. No new editor finds their way around and lands on RfA so quickly. Nor would they get so indignant about something so trivial as not being allowed to vote in RfA especially when what I've pointed out is so obvious. So just stick with improving articles which is what we're really here for and stop trying to stir controversy. If you had any shred of decency in you, you'd just work to help improve the project instead of disrupting it. This is a charity for Pete's sake. - Taxman Talk 23:24, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Disruption warning

Please settle down. Your edits on Carnildo's RfA are disruptive and if you don't discontinue with interfering the proper functioning of 'crats, you will be blocked. I think you're already well enough aware of that... so this warning might well be your last before a block. ++Lar: t/c 11:25, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Since you answered me on my talk page (despite my banner about how I prefer to do conversations) further conversation will occur there, it's up to you to watch it. No further notice here will be given of my replies. ++Lar: t/c 13:11, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Karmafist ?-- thanks for your note machiavelli

Thanks for your note. I find it interesting that you are monitoring Lars's talk page. Like so much of the Wheel warring that has happened here, I managed to, thank God, stay out of the Karmafist affair. There was an Arbcom case about it, but I don't know the link to it. The problem with K-fist is he is very smart and very capable and he drives people nuts running them in circles. He may even be ingenious. Unfortunately, he could probably be more beneficial to Wikipedia by focusing on the articles and avoiding the Machiavellian Wikipoliticing he is so good at. That's just my opinion. I'm no expert. Happy editing. Cheers, :) Dlohcierekim 13:32, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your note. No, outing someone's anonymity is against the rules, and I have no message to pass. I prefer to stay out of politics, Wiki and otherwise. Ironically, I was a minor member of my local Democratic party for a couple of years. I get more done RCPatrolling and taking part in AfD's. I don't miss politics. :) Dlohcierekim 13:54, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

No problem. The same here. I don't know if K was involved in the Userbox thing or not. Ironically, the same sort of pain over that affair is felt over the K-fist thing. That bitterness arises whenever anyone thinks K-fist is running about. This is the sort of bitterness that is going to see Carnildo's RfA fail despite benefits apparent to uninvolved users like me. Whether or not you are a Kfist sock, it will take a while for people to trust your judgment. Happy editing and don't worry about the opinions of others if they are ill-founded. Opinions are ubiquitous. Everyone has at least one, and some of them smell bad. Cheers, :) Dlohcierekim 14:09, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

This is the same wheel war. K-fist wheel warred with Mr Wales. :) Dlohcierekim 14:46, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Vice President/Karmafist or whoever. You did something that you shouldn't have. Lar is (very graciously) pointing that out to you. Accept the rebuke and move on to doing something useful. At the moment you are making maters worse by 'wikilawyering', and that's never helpful.--Doc 15:58, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
