Goethean - why do you keep putting copyright violation on this page? quotes are attributed to their authors. Some of the information was used from a Chicago Sun Times article from 2/14/2005 that this link uses, but it is not word -for -word. please explain. thanks and best regards. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.107.122.15 (talkcontribs).

You have changed a few phrases, but not enough to make it copyright-free. Please see WP:CP. If you do not stop removing the copyvio notice, you can be blocked from editing Wikipedia. — goethean 16:18, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bias tag

While the commercial may have launched Victory into Chicago-area prominence, it can't possibly be the only thing to write about regarding the company. If it is, the page may very well be nominated for deletion for being not notable. —Rob (talk) 20:53, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

I've written a new version of the article here. The commercial is pretty much the only thing notable about the company, but most of the nine million-ish people in the Chicago area have seen it at some point in their lives, so I think there is a sizeable potential audience for the article. If it's nominated for deletion, I'm fighting for it. :) Zagalejo 22:37, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

I like what you have written and I've altered my original entry for Victory to reflect what you've written. I am new to Wikipedia, so if I've done something wrong by doing such, I apologize! DanR1245 14:03, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

So, is the copyvio problem officially resolved? As far as I know, only an administrator is allowed to remove the copyvio tag, and it doesn't look like that's happened yet.
I guess we'll wait and see, but don't be surprised if your last few edits get reverted. I do appreciate your enthusiasm, though. Zagalejo 02:40, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
I need to be sure that no part of the article was cut-and-pasted from another website before the copyvio tag comes off. User:DanR1245 keeps removing the copyvio tag unilaterally, which is considered vandalism and can result in being blocked from editing. — goethean 14:43, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
Goethean, sorry about the removal of the copyvio... didn't know that was against the rules. The latest iteration of the article is mostly from User:Zagalejo, and I did make some edits but nothing from any other website. Again, my apologies for the copyvio removal... I love contributing to Wikipedia and definitely don't want to be blocked! DanR1245 10:56, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
Ok. As far as I can see, the current version is not a copyright violation. — goethean 16:00, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] No more "cash line"?

Does anyone have a transcipt of the current commercial? Apparently, they've changed the "you'll get cash on the spot" line. I haven't seen the commercial on TV for a while now, so if anyone can help me, just post a message here or on my talk page. Thanks! Zagalejo 19:50, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

Update: I just saw the commercial on WGN, and the cash line is still there. Zagalejo 06:07, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
