Vibe was a superhero in the DC Comics universe. He first appeared in Justice League of America Annual #2 (November 1984).

[edit] Character history

Born Paco Ramone, he was a former Puerto Rican gang leader (A member of the Detroit gang "Los Lobos") who had the power to produce sound waves. He was introduced as a new member of the Justice League during the "Justice League Detroit" era. The character was considered to be a stereotype and, like most of the new Detroit League characters, was massively unpopular. He was soon killed off by Professor Ivo.

He has a brother named Armando who has the same powers, Armando has gone by the codename Reverb and is currently known as Hardline. Armando was and might possibly still be a member of the corporate hero team known as the Conglomerate.

[edit] Other Media

Vibe has made several appearances in the show Justice League Unlimited. He was often seen next to other members of the Detroit League but he did not get a major role in any episode. He did have a major role in an issue of the Justice League Unlimited comic book series where he stopped Doctor Sivana's plan to rebuild Mister Atom.
