Viacom Productions was a television production company active from 1974 until 2004. It was launched as the production arm of Viacom Enterprises, which was spun-off from CBS in 1971.

In 2004, Paramount Television absorbed Viacom Productions, which had been a division of Paramount Television since Viacom acquired Paramount Pictures in 1994. The 4400 continued as a Paramount Television production for season 2, and is currently a CBS Paramount Television production since the Viacom/CBS Corporation split at the end of 2005.
