Vexta is a notable street art operating out of Melbourne Australia. Vesta is especially notable because she is a woman. Stencil artists are almost by rule, male. Vexta moved from Sydney to Melbourne and saw many examples of Stencil art by other artists namely Rone, Optic, Sync, Ha-Ha and Optic. She was inspired by their art and has been cutting and spraying stencils since 2002.

On Stencil art Vexta says:

"I always have felt that as an artists I was always looking for a medium, something I was truly inspired b. I found it a few years ago through what was happening in Melbourne."

Vexta has a background in screen printing.
