Vetti gard

Vetti Gard is an old[1] farm in Utladalen, in Årdal Kommune, Norway. Source of the surname Vetti. Can be reached by foot or by horse-carriage from Hjelle gard. No longer regularly inhabited. Vetti gard is now used as a cafeteria and bed & breakfast for mountain hikers during summer (June - September)[2]

Archaeological evidence of use since 1120 [3] Later, in 1601, it was listed as an abandoned farm. From 1775 owned by the same family (surname: Vetti) Known to accept tourists as guests since 1820.
