Vesuvius National Park

Vesuvius National Park (Italian: Parco Nazionale del Vesuvio) is a national park centred around the volcano, Mount Vesuvius, east of Naples, Italy. The park was founded in 1995 and covers an area of around 135 square kilometers all located within the Province of Naples.

The park authorities manage a network of nine footpaths (Italian sentieri) with a cumulative length of 54 km. The pathways were renovated between 2001 and 2003.
