RMS Titanic [1] Top August 23, 2006 Featured article FA 0.5 Wikipedia:WikiProject Belfast:
The class rating of FA seems obvious, since the article IS a FA. Mid for importance seems to make sense to me, (a non expert on Belfast) as it's not pivotal to the history of Belfast that the Titanic was built here. ++Lar: t/c 05:30, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
I would set the importance level to top as the Titanic is in the hearts and minds of many people of Belfast - their fathers and grandfathers having built it. The fateful ship is very much a part of the culture of Belfast. I will wait for comments before I change the importance level. --Mal 04:29, 25 August 2006 (UTC) (edit comment)
Linfield F.C. [2] High August 26, 2006 Good article GA * This article is a former Featured Article Candidate that failed (see archive). I think the article is good, but needs to be improved to reach the required standard for FA class and re-submitted. It is of high importance to the Belfast project as it is one of the 'Big Two' football teams in the Irish League. --Mal 04:27, 27 August 2006 (UTC) (edit comment)

I upgraded importance to high as Branagh is one of the most famous of Belfast people. Also, he gained some local acclaim for his role as Billy in the Billy Plays before his more mainstream, international reknown. --Mal 03:52, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

William Thomson, 1st Baron Kelvin [20] High September 25, 2006 B I have rated this article as high because it is such a good article (thus also the A-class quality rating), and Kelvin was such a prominent Belfast-born physicist. It has a wealth of information and images, but I thought the layout looked slightly cluttered. I will propose this article for peer review in order to achieve either GA-class or FA-class. --Mal 03:47, 25 August 2006 (UTC) (edit comment)
