AFL team rivalries [3] Low November 10, 2006 B ===Missing Rivalry===

there was one rivalry that was noticably absent from this, the one between Port Adelaide and Collingwood. this is the only things i know: it started back in 1990 before Port were in the league, but could have started further back in the All-Australian Champion (i think that what it was called, could be wrong) matches. When Port applied to join the then VFL in 1990, Collingwood opposed them using the black and white colours, and the magpie logo, which it still stood by when Port eventually got admitted in 1997. their first matches were heated, and Port had to arrange a deal so they could wear the 'jail bars' SANFL Port guernsy in one of the Heritage Rounds because Collingwood opposed it. Australian Cattle Dog [21] Low February 3, 2007 B Has a good amount of useful info. The "breed" section should be divided up into the various sections that its info covers. A history section must be created. Dividing the appearance section into subsections would definitely importve readability. Needs more references and citations. --Pharaoh Hound (talk) 13:41, 4 January 2007 (UTC) (edit comment)

Australian Kelpie [24] Low November 12, 2006 B I see that this article has been rated as "Start-Class". The next level above a "Stub". I see the "Editor's Experience" heading on the "Article progress grading scheme" in Wikipedia:WikiProject Australia/Assessment#Quality scale has this description of such an article:
"Substantial/major editing is needed, most material for a complete article needs to be added. This article usually isn't even good enough for a cleanup tag: it still needs to be built."

Ummmmmm. . . It's not that I'm speechless, it's that I am by nature easy-going and reluctant to say bad things about people in a forum like Wiki. My Mum always said, if you don't have anything good to say, then say nothing.

OK. "Nothing."

I am nominating this article immediately for GA status, as it meets all of the quality criteria. Gordon | Talk, 11:13, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Delisted

I have delisted this article after considering an experienced editor's comments and deciding that it requires further work -- though it is by no means a poverty-stricken stub as is implied by the Quality Scale Grading Scheme. Gordon | Talk, 14:01, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

B-class This article needs work but the information is all there whats needed is an alteration to presentation and the inclusion of more references as such I've rated the article as B Gnangarra14:12, 12 November 2006 (UTC) (edit comment)

Grey-headed Flying Fox [75] Low February 17, 2007 B I have classed this article as B owing to the fairly large amount of information in it which is all quite informative. Very good article, it was pushing it a little to have it rated B class, however it certainly didn't warrant a Start. The importance remains 'low'.

Under the heading, "Expansion into the Suburbs" (para. 4) A sentence starts, "Between 1889 a two-line viaduct ..."

Under the heading, "Eastern suburban lines" (para. 4) A sentence ends, "... the Spencer Street - Flinders Street viaduct opened in 1892."

I suggest that the latter date be included in the former statement.

Can any editor state when the viaduct was electrified? I presume it was about 1919 in conjunction with electrification of the Broadmeadows line to Essendon, as stated under the heading, "Northern suburban lines".

Rupert Murdoch [268] January 25, 2007 B The quote, "We can back down now..." does not appear in the article it references. Plus, it is grammatically incorrect. "...better then you", isn't it "better THAN you"?

Response: I have not been able to "find" these phrases in the text with a search. Have they already been corrected?Reveldor 22:44, 24 February 2007 (UTC) (edit comment)

New South Wales [313] Top December 21, 2006 Start With an article as highly important as this one, I find it apalling to see it in such a state. It does not cite or even state its references, has little information compared to that of the articles of other states and is fairly poorly written. As a New South Welshperson I feel ashamed in a way that this article is in such a state. So if you're reading this, I suggest you get to work to improve this article! Australian Kriol language [338] High July 6, 2006 Start I think it would be worth adding something about the substrate languages of Kriol (Roper River Kriol perhaps should have its own page as there is plenty of research on that particular dialect of Kriol). Also I think it would be good to add something about the phonology, grammatical structure etc.- the usual linguistic profile of the language.

Also where do the numbers come from for the amount of Kriol speakers? The Katherine Regional Aboriginal Language Centre sets it at well below 30,000 in the Katherine region- is this number including Western Australian creole?Snicho5 19:40, 3 November 2006 (UTC) (edit comment)
