Vertova is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 70 km northeast of Milan and about 20 km northeast of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,793 and an area of 15.8 km2.[1]
The municipality of Vertova contains the frazione (subdivision) Semonte.
Vertova borders the following municipalities: Casnigo, Colzate, Cornalba, Costa di Serina, Fiorano al Serio, Gazzaniga, Oneta.
