Vertavillo, Palencia

Vertavillo is a village and municipality of about 200 located in El Cerrato, in the province of Palencia, part of the autonomous community of Castile-Leon. It is located east of the provincial capital, Palencia. Noteworthy monuments include its Romanesque church (San Miguel). Farming and cattle are the principal activities in the municipality. This town is known for its scenic landscape and artisans.
