[edit] Main Street District
The development features a pedestrian-oriented Main Street with several merchants, including:
- Bank of America
- Bashas' grocery store
- CVS/pharmacy
- Grazie Pizzeria and Winebar
- Main Squeeze Smoothies & Juices
- Mokarabia coffee shop
- Verrado Assembly offices
- Verrado Realty offices
Located in the second and third floors above the retail district are the Main Street Lofts apartments. These apartments are managed by the P.B. Bell Companies.
[edit] Neighborhoods
Verrado's townhouses and single-family residences radiate from this central Main Street District. The design of these neighborhoods were inspired by American neighborhoods of the early twentieth century, including those of nearby Phoenix's highly-desirable historic districts. Many homes feature garages that are accessed from a rear alley rather than from the street to provide for a more traditional and attractive streetscape.
[edit] Institutions
Verrado is home to Verrado Middle School (part of Litchfield Elementary School District), and the newly-built Verrado High School (part of Agua Fria High School District). Additionally, adjacent to the Main Street District are the Verrado Village Sport & Health Club and the Raven Golf Club at Verrado.
