In 1978, Vernon Lefted Columbia/CBS Records & Got Signed To Chocolate City Records Which Was Distributed By Casablanca Records & Filmworks Thanks To Cecil Holmes. Vernon's 1st Album For Chocolate City Records Was Titled,"Love-A-Thon". The 2 Hit Singles Were "Brighter Days" & "Love Is". In 1979, Vernon's 2nd Album Was Titled, "Get Up". The 3 Hit Singles Were "Never Can Find A Way (Hot Love)", "Get Up" & "Once Again In My Life". In 1980, Vernon's 3rd Album Was Titled, "Steppin' Out". The No. 1 Smashing Hit Single Was "Fun City". In 1981, Vernon Lefted Chocolate City Records & Started To Shop For Another Label.
