Verne Judson White (2006)

Verne Judson White is a Clovis, California, radio engineer and station owner, and the creator of kyaradio.com, a revival of the defunct San Francisco station KYA. White uses the on-air name Chris Edwards (not to be confused with the disc jockey of the same name who worked for KYA from 1968 to 1976). White is an owner of several rural radio stations in California, including KYAF-FM in Firebaugh, which broadcasts a KYA-style Oldies music format.

White was the subject of a San Francisco Chronicle article ("The Real ... and the Unreal") by Ben Fong-Torres in August 2006.
