Vern Thiessen

Vern Thiessen BA, MFA (born ca. 1964 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian playwright.
He studied at the University of Winnipeg and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. From there, he attended the University of Alberta for his Master of Fine Arts degree.
Thiessen currently lives in Edmonton, Alberta and was formerly a drama instructor at the University of Alberta. As of July 2006 he was the President of the Writer's Guild of Alberta.[1]
