Vermont Route 100 is a north-south highway that travels the length of the state from Newport in the north (near the Canadian border) to the Massachusetts State Line. It is a scenic highway that passes through the Mad River Valley. The total length of the route is 216.59 miles (348.57 km) from its southern terminus at Massachusetts Route 8 in Stamford to its northern terminus at Vermont Route 105 in Newport.
