[edit] Career with Dune
She started her career with the group Dune being the dancer during performances. This was when Dune consisted of Oliver Froning, Jens Oettrich and Bernd Burhoff. It was this job that led her to become the groups lead vocalist.
After three albums with Dune (Expedicion, Live! and Forever), Verena decided to leave Dune in 1997 to become a solo singer. In 1999, Verena rejoined the Dune and in the end of 1999 the single Dark Side Of The Moon was released. But due to legal complications the following single Heaven and the album Reunion couldn't be released and Dune stopped their activity for an indefinite time.
