Verdell Smith is the name of a professional boxer from America. In 1999, his record was 91 professional bouts, with 37 wins and 54 defeats.

He lost to Jesse James Leija in 1999. He lost to Julio César Chávez. He also lost to Jorge Paez, in a fight that was the subject of a 2004 FBI investigation against promoter Bob Arum for fight fixing.
