Verbum Dei Missionary Fraternity

The Verbum Dei Missionary Fraternity (VDMF) is an Institute of Consecrated Life of the Roman Catholic Church. Its mission is to announce the Word of God and to propagate the Kingdom of God through prayer, the ministry of the Word, and the testimony of evangelical life. It was founded on January 17, 1963, in Mallorca, Spain by Rev. Jaime Bonet.
Verbum Dei is fully dedicated to evangelization, by means of: contemplation, witness of life, and apostolic ministry. The Verbum Dei Missionary Fraternity consists of consecrated religious women, consecrated religious men (brothers & priests) and associated married couples. Verbum Dei means Word of God in Latin.
Verbum Dei is active in Mexico, United States, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Venezuela, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Hungary, France, Belgium, Russia, Ireland, Poland, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore and Australia.
