[edit] Mogollon Rim drainage

Much of the Mogollon Rim drainage goes into the Verde-Salt Rivers.

  1. Salt River–North and northeast ot Phoenix, the eastern Rim. –(the northern drainages into the Gila River-from the East of Arizona)
  2. Verde River–North & NWest, the central Mogollon Rim towards the northwestern extensions of the Rim. This abuts the Lower Rim of the Grand Canyon, or the the southern sections of the Kaibab Plateau (for Flagstaff).
  3. The rim sections have the most water. Going northwest the flows are reduced and cover more land-area drainages.

An attempt at explaining that there is a name in Phoenix for the confluence point of the 3-rivers: Salt, Verde, and Gila in Northern Phoenix. (from the SonoranDesert( -Yuma) -Mmcannis 04:44, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
