Vepsskaya National Volost

Vepsskaya National Volost (Russian: Ве́псская национа́льная во́лость) is a district (volost) of North Vepses in the Republic of Karelia, Russia. The autonomy was established on January 20, 1994. Its administrative centre is the village of Sheltozero (Veps: Soutary). Volost's population: 3,166 (2002 Census), with the Veps population of 1,202[citation needed].

The volost includes 13 villages[citation needed] and 2 rural administrations. In 2003, Vepsskaya National Volost was incorporated into Prionezhsky District of the Republic of Karelia[citation needed].
