Ventura (ship)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ventura is a P&O Cruises ship, to be launched in April 2008. It will be a sister ship to Princess Cruises' Crown Princess. The ship will be the largest cruise ship built for Britain, accommodating 3,100 passengers. It will have 1,550 cabins, of which about 60% will possess private balconies.[1] It will feature fourteen public decks, eight restaurants, six boutiques, five pools and three show lounges, including the largest theatre on a British ship.

The ship is intended to be family friendly, offering toys and games, mp3 players, and appearances by the children's character Noddy.[2] It will include children's play areas and two pools specifically for families.[1]
