A vent can refer to:
- A volcano. (also commonly a term for a deep sea vent)
- A plumbing system's discharge of sewage gases to the outdoors
- An exhaust duct of a combustion water heater, boiler, or furnace
- A clothes dryer or restroom fan's 'vent' to the outdoors; better called an 'exhaust'
- An outlet of a biological ventilation system that allows the exchange of air; see gas exchange
- An external opening of a urinary or genital system in lower vertebrates (eg - salamanders)
- The discharge from a combustion chamber; see chimney
- A small village in the Ötztal Alps, Austria
- Ventrilo—an internet VoIP chat system service.
- A narrow opening (slot) in a vending machine or slot machine through which to introduce money coins or tokens.
- The various attacks used by characters in Kamen Rider Ryuki are known as "Vents" (such as "Kick Vent", "Sword Vent", etc).
- A 2006 radio comedy produced by the BBC.
