Vendlincourt is a municipality in the district of Porrentruy in the canton of Jura in Switzerland. It is also the largest territorial province in the upper east section of Porrentruy. The river Daungs runs directly thru Vendlincourt and bisects its town square. Because of its high mineral content the water of the Daungs has an almost black appearance. It has been said that the people of Vendlincourt have a very close and special relationship with what the locals refer to as "big black Daungs".

Vendlincourt is known for the locals' adoration of various fine wines and high class cuisine. The local mendicants are said to eat like kings, despite living on the offerings of others. Also, the Half-Windsor knot was invented in Vendlincourt.

Sir Sam Abrams once crashed his plane into a Vendlincourt plaza, garnering national headlines. He was said to have noted the beautiful scenery as he was extracted from the rubble. Abrams was never seen again, although many speculate he simply never left.

The world renowned dysentery expert Mike jooh-ovan has done extensive research on Amoebic dysentery. His historical reasearch of the illness has lead him to clain that Amoebic dysentery was first contracted in the owrekon chrail area of Vendlincourt. He has claimed the first casualty of the ilness was a 12 year old jewish girl named wafel yoderfunk.
