[edit] Thanks for the helpful research!

Thank you for finding the original writers of the "brochure-language" paragraph criticized in this latest flare-up! How did you do it?? (Patient wading through months of diffs?) However, I'm very impressed, and it seems to have taken the wind out of a peculiar set of sails more effectively than anything else imaginable could have done.

Do continue to help improve the objectivity and veracity of the articles! Hgilbert 05:47, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Arbitration

[edit] Arbitration

There is a current request for arbitration relating to the articles Waldorf education, Anthroposophy, Rudolf Steiner and Rudolf Steiner's views on race and ethnicity. Hgilbert 01:38, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Waldorf education

Hello,

An Arbitration case involving you has been opened: Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Waldorf education. Please add any evidence you may wish the arbitrators to consider to the evidence sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Waldorf education/Evidence. You may also contribute to the case on the workshop sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Waldorf education/Workshop.

[edit] Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Waldorf education

The above entitled arbitration case has closed, and the final decision has been issued at the above link. Waldorf education, Rudolf Steiner, Anthroposophy and the extended family of related articles such as Social Threefolding are placed on article probation. Editors of these articles are expected to remove all original research and other unverifiable information, including all controversial information sourced in Anthroposophy related publications. It is anticipated that this process may result in deletion or merger of some articles due to failure of verification by third party peer reviewed sources. If it is found, upon review by the Arbitration Committee, that any of the principals in this arbitration continue to edit in an inappropriate and disruptive way editing restrictions may be imposed. Review may be at the initiative of any member of the Arbitration Committee on their own motion or upon petition by any user to them.

[edit] Not personal translation

Venado, in one discussion, you - I think - mention a personal translation of a lecture. To the extent this refers to a lecture I publish at my site, and have linked to in the discussion, it is not correct. The translation at my site is taken from the 1970 publication of the lecture series, from which it is taken. I asked and got permission from the publisher and copyright holder before I published it at my site. I have now added that info to the page. At one time I also published the table of contents of the published book. It then contained that info. Regards, Thebee 16:14, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Third-party reviewed citations

Just wanted to say thank you Venado for finding non-Waldorf/anthroposophical sources for the Waldorf Education site. I would like to be doing this too but I just don't have much time for research. By the way, you recently added one written by Arline Monks. The publication is impartial but Arline is an anthroposophist. Not sure if that matters. Anyway, thanks for your work. [edit] No problem

Yeah with three editors working, will pick up little mistakes like that quickly - glad you got the reference sorted that is what it is all about. What with no arguments on the talk pages tonight it has been nice to do some copy-editing quite refreshing in fact - I am so addicted.

Oh some advice for the future - only add in a ref using <ref> when you have it - to do it partly, as you may have seen, can really muck up an article, even if only for a few minutes - best to avoid... Cheers Lethaniol 01:35, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Reopening of arbitration

I have reopened the arbitration case concerning this article for review Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Waldorf education/Review. Fred Bauder 15:17, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] No need to swear

HI there,

I just saw this difference [1]. Just to say I understand how edit wars and reverts can be really frustrating, but swearing in such a way is not going to help you. Please at all times try to be civil. Cheers Lethaniol 16:18, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Hey that is no problem, and thank you for the reply. Unfortunately in the world of text driven communication, the lack of non-verbal communication means you have to be so careful when talking to people, so as not to offend, especially if using humour or jargon that others might not take the same way as you do.
