VEM Maintenance & Engineering

VEM Maintenance & Engineering Inc. is a company of TAP PORTUGAL Group that is between 10 largest aircraft and component maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) companies in the world today.

VEM has around 4,400 employees distributed among three large Maintenance Centers – at Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre and São Paulo and has several specialized shops and calibration laboratories. VEM also provides line manitenance for narrow body and wide body aircrafts at 35 airports in Brazil and 5 abroad (together with TAP).

Its services are certified by the main aeronautical authorities in the world: the ANAC in Brazil, FAA, in United States, EASA, in Europe and those of all countries where it has customers.

It has a capability list of more than 10 thousand items, and is certified for the entire line of Boeing 707, 727, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, in addition to the MD11, DC10, Embraer EMB 120 and ERJ145, Fokker 50, Fokker 100 and Airbus A300 (A310 and A320 under certification). It is also certified for the Embraer Legacy, Gulfstream series G and Boeing BBJ in the corporate aviation segment.
