Velo (Greek Modern: Βέλο, Ancient/Katharevousa: -n), older form: Velon is a community and a municipality in the northern part of Corinthia. Greece Interstate 8, the old highway passes through the town. The distance from Corinth is about 10 km W, E of Kiato, west of GR-7, ENE of Agia Marina and NW and NE of its interchanges of GR-8A.

The community has a school, a gymnasium, a church, a post office, a train station, banks, a beach, a junior soccer team named Ellas Velou and a square (plateia) with forests.

The entire ares as covered with fertile land with olive groves, pastures and mixed farming while hills dominate the southern part of the municipality filled with hills with groves and a few forests.

Its toll booth for Corinth is founded south of Velo.

The fault lines are east of the area including the Corinth Fault.
