Vegetable Soup (TV series)

Vegetable Soup was an educational children's television program produced by the New York State Education Department that originally ran for 78 episodes from 1975 to 1978. The show featured the voices of Bette Midler, James Earl Jones, and Daniel Stern. The animated segments were created by Wantu Studios, headed by Jim Simon. It aired on PBS stations and in syndication through the early 1980s; it also aired Sunday mornings on NBC during the 1975-1976 television season.

Repeats of Vegetable Soup also aired in the early-1980s on Nickelodeon.
