Vega 4 are a four-piece band formed in London.

- Gavin Fox - Bass
McDaid and Fox are from Ireland, McLellan from Canada and Gainsford is from New Zealand. Vega 4 are signed to Columbia Records in the UK, Epic Records in the USA and have an album "You and Others" produced by Jacknife Lee (U2, Snow Patrol, Bloc Party). They also played at the 2006 SXSW festival.
Gavin Fox, formerly of the band Idlewild, joined Vega 4 in December 2006 when bassist Simon Walker left.
Vega 4 premiered in the US when their single "Life is Beautiful" was featured on the November 2, 2006 episode of Grey's Anatomy.
Vega 4 topped the Irish charts in the last quarter of 2006 and broke sales records, with their hit "You and Me", when it was used by RTE 2fm to re-launch the station's new line up and look. They are currently on their first U.S. tour with Augustana. Vega4 are receiving much media interest in the U.S with with major radio support for "Life Is Beautiful".
