The Vauxhall VXR8 is the new flagship performance sedan of the British marque that goes on sale in July 2007 as a 2008 model. It was formally unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show, although a press release and website information was made available several days earlier. It is a twin of the Australian HSV E-series Clubsport R8, which in turn is based on the Holden VE Commodore.

The VXR8 is being introduced as a low-volume import following on from the success of the discontinued Vauxhall Monaro VXR, also Australian. The VXR8 is Vauxhall's first executive car since the demise of the Omega in 2003.
