Vasily Azhaev

Vasily Nikolaevich Azhaev (also spelled Ajaev; Russian: Васолий Никодаевич Ажаев; born February 12 [O.S. January 30] 1915- April 27, 1968) was a Russian writer, the author of novels Daleko ot Moskvy (Far from Moscow) (1948, Stalin Prize of 1949), base of a film and an opera.
