Variety Big Brother (Mandarin Chinese: 綜藝大哥大; Hanyu Pinyin: zōngyì dàgēdà) is a television show hosted by funnyman Chang Fei, a.k.a. Fei Ge. It is aired in Taiwan on the network television station China Television on Saturdays. This popular comedy-variety show is basically like other Taiwanese variety shows, with sketches, performances, songs and jokes related to Taiwan and celebrities. Every week there are famous celebrities and worldwide performers. It was infamous for the use of copyrighted music with alterations and constant sound effects.

Each show is a combination of separate shows into one.

This show was heavily criticized outside of East Asia for frequently using exaggerated laugh tracks despite being taped in front of an audience. Also many stock sound effects are used, mostly cartoon sounds and crowd cheers.

  • The show is similar to Sabado Gigante. Sabado Gigante occasionally uses cartoon sound effects but with no laugh tracks or crowd sounds.
  • Chang sometimes invites his brother, the famous singer Fei Yu Ching, to his show.
  • Ni Min Jan didn't return to several shows after being noticed that he committed suicide for knowing his wife allegedly having an affair.
