VAQ-129

VAQ-129 is the US Navy and Marine Corps' only EA-6 training squadron. Known as the Fleet Replacement Squadron, or FRS, they are charged with training all EA-6B aviators and developing standard operating procedures for the maintenance and operation of the aircraft. The squadron is permanently stationed at NAS Whidbey Island, in Puget Sound. Beginning in the summer of 2008, VAQ-129 will begin the transition to the EA-18G Growler
