Vanguard University of Southern California is located in Costa Mesa, California, USA on 55 Fair Drive, across the street from the Orange County Fairgrounds. Founded in 1920 as the Southern California Bible School, the undergraduate school became accredited in 1964, the graduate school in 1983. It was granted university status in 1999.
Vanguard is a Christian Comprehensive University of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies and is owned by the Southern California District of the Assemblies of God.
