Vanguard is a software synthesizer by reFX. It is a virtual analog synthesizer with 3 oscillators, 32 waveforms, up to 10-times unison, a filter with a number of unusual responses, delay and reverb effects and stereo pattern controlled noise gate and arpeggiator. It is available as VSTi and AU. Vanguard is commonly used in trance music but can also be used in other styles such as classical and symphonic electronica. Vanguard also features an 128 patches soundbank designed by designer and founder of vengeance-sound.de Manuel Schleis.
