[edit] History

[edit] Virtua Fighter 4

When she was still a child, J6 Special Forces killed Vanessa's parents. She was captured by them and was trained to be a part of J6's special forces. However, in an unexpected twist, a man called Lewis who was a member of the special forces rescued Vanessa. Vanessa grew close to Lewis. However, their time together was brief, as suddenly a member of J6's special forces murdered Lewis. One day, she hears of J6's intention to capture Sarah in the 4th tournament. Vanessa decides to join the 4th tournament not only as Sarah's bodyguard, but to find Lewis's murderer as well.

[edit] Virtua Fighter 5

Vanessa was captured by J6 in order to create a new Dural model called V-Dural ("V" standing for Vanessa). She was rescued by a double agent within J6. However, she has dissociative amnesia, and does not remember anything that has happened to her between these events. She is currently struggling to find out what happened to her during this "blackout."

[edit] Trivia

  • In the US & European PS2 port of Virtua Fighter 4:Evolution, Vanessa's 1P costume (a black Vale Tudo outfit) was changed to a khaki version of her 2P outfit. Due to this, Vanessa was the only character to have only colour variations instead of a second costume. All 1P costume exclusive items are also not included.
  • In Virtua Fighter 4, Vanessa used 2 stances: Defensive stance and Muay Thai stance. With the introduction of Brad Burns in Virtua Fighter 4:Evolution, Vanessa changed styles from Muay Thai to Vale Tudo.
  • In the opening movie for Virtua Fighter 5, Vanessa seems to be wanting to fight Aoi Umenokouji, and Brad seems to also be enjoying both ladies' company.
