Vanessa Bird was a fictional character in the popular BBC soap opera EastEnders. She was played by Sara Houghton.

Vanessa was Gus Smith's lawyer when he was wrongly arrested for a robbery at The Minute Mart. He had been trying to stop Martin and Vicki Fowler from robbing the shop, and got arrested after they ran away. Gus was proven not guilty.
