I removed the following text:

During his first election to State Assembly, there was some scandal involving former clients of Van Tran’s law firm accusing Tran of improper billing. The report first appeared in Vietnamese language newspapers and radio. Nothing came of the accusations.

This needs to be sourced before being put back in the article. OCNative 03:51, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
