Home of New Zealands underground and emerging artists, Valve was the "starting stone" and first home to acts and artists such as Shihad, The Datsuns, The Black Seeds, The Upbeats, Trinity Roots, Fur Patrol, Not Quite Right and many more.

Located at 154 Vivian Street in Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand, Valve hosts around 20-25 live acts a week. It is a popular choice for bands in the underground scene of New Zealand.

It's renowned to Wellingtonians especially, but to musicians from across the globe for it's easy going, music friendly terms for gigs, and has irreputedly the best sounding venue acoustics in Wellington.
