Valongo (pron. IPA: [vɐ'lõgu]) is a Portuguese municipality located in the District of Porto, the city population is 16,698, and the municipality is compsed of 5 parishes and has a total population of 85,814 inhabitants.

Another important city in the Valongo municipality is Ermesinde with a population of 38,315, which is essentially a residential suburb.
