The Valley of Dry Bones is the valley where God shows his chosen prophet of that time, Ezekiel, (Ezekiel 37:14)where God shows Ezekiel the valley.
He asks him can the bones live. Ezekiel replies saying only He knows. The Lord commanded Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones saying "Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin..." So Ezekiel does what he is told and he heard a noise and the bones formed a skeleton. Skin, tendons, and muscle formed on the bones but they didn't breathe. Then The Lord commanded Ezekiel to prophesy to the breath. Again Ezekiel did what he was told and they stood up on their feet and it says "they were a He is teaching the prophet Ezekiel what to say to the Isrealites who have turned to their idols. At the end of the chapter he says that if you believe in Him you will die but you will live again.
