Valla scandal
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Valla scandal was a Norwegian political scandal in early 2007 involving Gerd-Liv Valla, the chair of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions, who was accused of harassing employees, having an authoritarian leading style and of lying. An external inquiry found that Gerd-Liv Valla had violated several Norwegian labour laws. As a consequence, Valla was forced to withdraw from all offices, and was replaced by Roar Flåthen as chair of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions.
